Introducing a recently project completed for a micro-brewery that was looking for a new set of beer tap handles to showcase their brand and bring in new customers.

 

The Drydock went through extensive user testing and worked closely with the client to translate their original 2D design into a 3D CAD model. From there, various materials, from PTEG to resin were trialled and stress tested to ensure the final product would meet the client's specifications.

One unique feature of these tap handles is that they incorporate a message on the rear that can be revealed when the pump is empty. The embossed message reads 'COMING SOON,' adding a playful touch to the design and piquing customers' curiosity about the next brew on tap.

The handles themselves were designed to echo Art Deco styling and incorporate the brewery's brand colours, making them not only functional but also visually appealing. The handles have since acted as a draw for customers walking by to try the brewery's beer, and once they taste it, the beer will do the rest.
